Settled at last! Having experienced the daunting task of downsizing – selling our home and most furnishings in New England; relocating permanently to Daniel Island; renting the old condo; and buying a larger condo (all within one month!) – we are now ready to start enjoying all that Charleston has to offer. We first met Hayden when my daughter and I looked at a condo rental unit. Once Hayden heard my dismay about the high cost of renting, he encouraged us to write a contract on a short sale, suggesting it was possible to buy for less than what my daughter would pay in rent. Even though we expected it to be a challenge on the short sale, it was quite a roller coaster ride. However, Hayden remained positive and handled all the details, both great and small, with great skill and a wonderful sense of humor. Now my daughter lives in her own condo, and we enjoy the getting to know Hayden as a neighbor and friend on Daniel Island. If HJP were a restaurant, we would give them a five star rating.

Brenda Cook sold my larger house on Daniel Island and she was amazing, both company and client focused. Once we sold our house we did not know what we wanted to do but Brenda encouraged us to buy a lot on the park side of Daniel Island. Once we had a chance to digest everything we chose a builder and built a smaller house and moved in June 25, 2015. We could not be happier with her guidance and our house. I called her this morning to tell her that our house was recently appraised and I was shocked. We built on Lesesne Street (smallest house on street) and we adore it! She was so instrumental in our decisions and I just want you to know you have hired a gem. She is someone I look up to, have the utmost respect for and love. She certainly serves as a role model for other Realtors. So happy for you and your company that you hired her. She is the best both professionally and personally. She cares about the client after the sale.

Hayden has helped me buy and sell several rental properties over the past five years.  You’ll notice right away he is gregarious and energetic.  After working with him, you’ll find he also is professional, patient, fair, knowledgeable and efficient.  He has used those attributes to build relationships and develop a tremendous network of contacts, including repeat customers, agents who trust him, inspectors and contractors who can solve most problems.  Twice Hayden brought me great properties that weren’t even listed yet that I was able to purchase quickly at below market prices.  As well, he twice brought ready buyers on condos when I was just thinking about selling.  On one, I had a contract three days after telling him I might want to sell and we closed the day after my tenant moved out.  Not every transaction can go this well, but Hayden’s knowledge of the market, interpersonal skills, problem solving super powers and legion of contacts will give you options you won’t get with any other agent.
