Daniel Island Ferry

A ferry service from Daniel Island to downtown?  What a great idea!

A Daniel Island Ferry is now in service from the Children’s Park on Daniel Island to downtown Waterfront Park on Thursday and Friday nights.  It’s an awesome way for Daniel Island folks to get out on the water and enjoy a night out on the town.  Service includes a free drink while on board and is a relaxing & fun way to spend an evening.  The schedule allows time for a couple of hours downtown to have dinner, drinks or just do some shopping and enjoy the sights.  It would be a great option for a date night, girl’s night, or even a family outing.

The current schedule is:

DI to Downtown – 5:30 pm or 9:00 pm
Downtown to DI – 5:00 pm or 8:30 pm

The schedule will be expanded in future once planned improvements are made to the dock on Daniel Island.  Keep an eye on the DI Ferry website for the latest updates and schedule.
