HJP-headshots-11.5.14-04
Name: Carolyn Freeman
Hometown: Chicago, IL but moved here from St. Louis
Charleston Resident Since: 2012
Career Background: Sales: Xerox, United States Surgical, owned THE STICKSTOP, a lacrosse retail store
When not working, can usually be found:At the beach, on the golf course or tennis court, anything involving soaking up the Lowcountry sunshine
Favorite Sunday Activity:Entertaining in my “Charleston Garden”
Favorite Charleston Neighborhood: Harleston Village where Bill and I live. It is a neighborhood that is unnecessarily overlooked. There are sweet little pockets that will surprise you with privacy and of course, loads of charm. The location is awesome because it is a short walk to CofC so you can get smart, the farmers market so you can get fed, upper King Street so you can get stupid, and MUSC so you can get treated!
Favorite Charleston Restaurants: Leon’s Oyster Bar, The Peninsula Grill, Tratoria Lucca
Top Reason to Live in Charleston: The lifestyle, the people, the FUN of it all. Bill and I made great friends immediately – Charleston attracts fascinating people from all over the country and all over the world who have lived full, interesting lives.
Why I became an agent:  You always hear people say “Do what you love!” so I decided to do just that!
Why I chose Hayden Jennings Properties: I knew I wanted a “boutique” brokerage, but wanted something different than what I had become familiar with. I was introduced to Hayden and Stacy Jennings through a mutual friend and I just love them! They are edgy, hip, progressive and VERY smart. They are “out of the box” thinkers who train and coach us to always do the right thing and forget the status quo. And I know they care about our Team and our clients!
